Term | Description |

Circle | A Circle is a collection of devices and users that have access to a set of data governed by policies. Files, Users, and Devices can be added or removed from the Circle at any time. Lost your laptop? Simply remove the device from the Circle and the laptop will no longer have access to any of the protected files stored within it. User authorization can come from Active Directory or LDAP-based directory service, so no additional rights database is required. |
Agent / Client | Software that delivers the SecureCircle service to an Endpoint. Support for Windows, macOS, Android, iOS & Linux |
Endpoint | A device or node that has installed the SecureCircle agent. |
Server | A device that is managed by the customer or managed by SecureCircle that is running the SecureCircle management platform. |
