Fix VPN Connectivity Issues on Endpoints

If SecureCircle Agent cannot recognize the VPN adapter, the Agent may have trouble connecting to the SecureCircle server.

To prevent this on Windows Endpoints, you can chose one of 2 options.

Manually add a VPN adapter name into configuration INI file

  1. Open the fhagent.log file located in %SYSTEMROOT%\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\SecureCircle\logs. It should have info about installed network adapters, like the example below.

  1. Find there name of your VPN adapter and add that name into
    C:\Program Files (x86)\SecureCircle\fhagent.ini
    Section [vpn]
    known_adapters=TAP-Windows Adapter V9

  2. Restart fhagent service.

Disable network connectivity check

  1. Open C:\Program Files (x86)\SecureCircle\fhagent.ini
  2. Change network_connectivity_check to false
  3. Restart fhagent service.
