Agent HTTP Proxy

HTTP Proxy support is available in version 2.10+.
Setting up SecureCircle Agent to work through the HTTP proxy.
Both macOS and Windows Agents Support HTTP Proxy.
The SecureCircle Agent can be configured to communicate over proxy at the installation or if you already have it installed.
Proxy Setup at the installation:
To configure proxy at install time, run installer via command line with /proxy argument
Note: /S switch will perform a silent installation (for a silent deployment)
To configure proxy at install time, create a file .fhinstall.ini in user home directory with proxy info in the attached format
[proxy] ;Proxy server host name or IP address. Can also be empty in case of no proxy support needed. host = 184.108.40.206 ;Proxy server TCP port. Can also be empty in case of no proxy support needed. port = 8080 ;Proxy server username. username = user ;Proxy server password. password = pass ; A regular expression defining hosts for which the proxy should be bypassed, ; e.g. "localhost|127\.0\.0\.1|192\.168\.0\.\d+". Configuring proxy on a system that has the SecureCircle Agent installed
- Use command prompt with administrator privileges and run this command
Note: This command will change proxy settings for fhagent, resulting in the very next connection to the server to be routed through the proxy
- To perform "fhtools" Command Line operations, without changing a proxy setting for SecireCircle Agent
fhtools --supportedCommand --proxy=user:firstname.lastname@example.org:8080
Note: This will force fhtools to use proxy on the desired command. It will not set proxy settings on the SecureCircle Agent.
- To reset proxy settings, the following can be used
Note: This command will delete proxy settings for fhagent, resulting in the very next connection to the server to be routed directly to the server
